Julia Kant, your expert for criminal law and tax law

Julia Kant is an internationally experienced lawyer. She is a fully qualified German lawyer and also has a Dutch law degree. She specialises in European law and international commercial and corporate law. She completed one module of her Master’s programme at the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce in The Hague. She then worked in Brussels on a project for the European Commission before returning to Göttingen to train as a lawyer. During this time, she worked in the legal department of a listed company. During her legal clerkship, she increasingly shifted her legal focus to criminal law and completed her elective clerkship at a renowned criminal law firm in Göttingen. After her second state examination, she worked in the Hamburg office of an internationally renowned commercial law firm, primarily in the areas of dispute resolution, commercial criminal law and global transaction business. She speaks German, English, French and Dutch.

She has been a lawyer in the MPP team since February 2024.
